Neelima Azeem (born 2 December 1958 ) is an accomplished Indian actress, classical Kathak dancer, and writer, widely respected for her contributions to Indian cinema, television, and the performing arts. Azeem first gained prominence through her refined performances on Indian television, where she enjoyed a successful run in several popular serials before transitioning seamlessly into feature films. Born into an intellectually and culturally distinguished family, Neelima Azeem is the daughter of Anwar Azeem, a noted journalist and Urdu author from Bihar, and Khadija, who was related to the legendary writer and filmmaker Khwaja Ahmad Abbas.
