K. Sapru, Asit Sen, Paidi Jairaj, Mohan Choti, Johny Whisky, Kedarnath Saigal, and Tarun Bose. The film's music, composed by the duo Sapan-Jagmohan, played a significant role in shaping its mood and appeal. Notable tracks such as Aisa To Kabhi Mumkin Hi Nahin and Hans Do To Mohabbat Ho Tum were rendered by the legendary Mohammed Rafi, while Ab To Jane Do Saiyan was beautifully sung by Asha Bhosle.

Despite its talented cast and memorable music, clear information about the film's box office performance is limited. Archival data from that period is often incomplete or unavailable online, making it difficult to definitively assess its commercial success. Additionally, contemporary user reviews and ratings are scarce, offering little insight into the audience's reception at the time of release.

Nonetheless, Gunah Aur Kanoon remains notable for its thematic exploration of crime and justice, characteristic of B. R. Ishara's storytelling style. Its value today lies more in its cinematic and historical context than in quantifiable success, serving as a reflection of the era's filmmaking and narrative techniques.
