Scene Description Moni has disappered. Phanibhushan spends his days in despair. One night, he feels Moni's presence in the room. He sees an apparition of her, hears her asking for the necklace he promised to bring from Calcutta. Her obsession continues to haunt. Perhaps she was abducted and killed by the distant cousin for money, we are not to know. But her psychoses takes another form in Phanibhushan. When Phanibhushan fiddles with the jewellery box, a skeletal hand lands on his, blowing the living lights out of him. (6/6)
