Scene Description Monimalika's singular obsession is her jewellery. She loves collecting, wearing and tending to them all day, to a point that it is unnatural and unhealthy. When Phanibhushan's jute factory burns down, he gets submerged in debt. Mani suspects that he will sell her jewellery to attain the money. She gets more and more paranoid about its possibility.
