Scene Description Piku has the eagerness and intrigue of Ray's Apu. Yet it is not the picturesque vastness of Nischindipur but a gated garden inside the city and attached to it is the house where Ray shows multiple complexities play out. While Piku is busy finding the treasures of the garden, his mother is engaged with her lover and the old grandfather struggles to call for someone to attend to him, he is collapsing fom a fatal attack. Pikoo's innocence is about to come to an abrupt end. (12/17)
