Scene Description The Baba delivers his sermons and then collapses in a trance every evening. Moving the two forefingers on his hands simultaneously clockwise and anticlockwise, he explains the flow of time past and time future. For the homily to come to an end, he flings his arms, crying incongruously "Tempora!" followed by his disciples shouting "Om!". The he becomes catatonic and gets carried to his room. On certain days, the devotees see the appearance of Birinchi as Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu or Jesus. (16/17)
