Scene Description To spur with her lover Satya, Buchki threatens that she will accept Birinchi Baba's ordination and renounce the material world. The marriage thus won't be taking place. A fretful Satya conspires with his friends, Nibaran, Paramartha and Nitai to expose the blatant fraudulence of the Baba and get rid of him for good. The friends come to his prayer meeting. When Baba sees Satya, he claims to have known him in his previous life as Motiram whom he met at Jagat Seth's mother's funeral. (14/17)
