Scene DescriptionSomnath fails to get the coveted order from the textile tycoon Mr Goenka. He consults the know-all, do-all Natabar Mitter regarding the matter, who reveals that an ideal bribe for Mr Goenka would be presenting him with an escort woman; that'd secure the deal for Somnath. But Somnath's flexibility could only go so far. He is hesitant and at the same time tempted to make the Faustian bargain for money. For the likes of Mr Mitter, the sex trade is transactional just as any other business which Somnath finds hard to swallow. (16/27)
