Introduction
Andolan (1995) Directed by Aziz Sejawal, written by Anees Bazmee, who also wrote the screenplay and dialogues, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film starred Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Mamta Kulkarni, and Somy Ali in the lead roles. Actress Divya Bharti was originally cast as Guddi, but following her sudden and untimely death, she was replaced by Mamta Kulkarni. The film also marked the final screen appearance of veteran actress Asha Parekh before her retirement.
While box office records indicate that the film had an average performance—grossing approximately ₹10 crores in India—some sources labelled it a "superhit," whereas others considered it merely "average." Despite production challenges, the film managed to draw attention.

आन्दोलन (1995) के निर्देशक अज़ीज़ सेजवाल थे और इसके कहानी, पटकथा और संवाद लेखक अनीस बज़्मी थे। इस फ़िल्म का निर्माण साजिद नडियाडवाला ने किया था। इस फ़िल्म में संजय दत्त, गोविंदा, ममता कुलकर्णी और सोमी अली प्रमुख भूमिकाएँ निभा रहे थे। पहले उस दौर की कामयाब अभिनेत्री दिव्या भारती को फ़िल्म में गुड्डी का प्रमुख किरदार निभाने के लिए चुना गया था, लेकिन उनकी अचानक हुई दुख:द मौत ने इसे साकार नहीं होने दिया। उनकी असमय मृत्यु के बाद यह भूमिका ममता कुलकर्णी को दी गई। आन्दोलन को इसलिए भी याद रखा जाता है कि यह बीते दौर की सितारा नायिका आशा पारेख की अन्तिम फ़िल्म रही। इसे करने के बाद उन्होंने अभिनय जगत से संन्यास ले लिया था।
फ़िल्म का व्यावसायिक प्रदर्शन औसत रहा। इसने भारतीय बाज़ार में लगभग 10 करोड़ रुपए की कमाई की। हालाँकि कुछ स्रोतों में इसे 'सुपरहिट' बताया गया, वहीं कुछ और ने इसे सिर्फ़ 'औसत' कामयाब माना। इस फ़िल्म के निर्माण ने कई चुनौतियाँ देखीं, पर आखिर में फ़िल्म ने दर्शकों का ध्यान आकर्षित किया।
