Scene Description It is ironic that one should be awarded for such immense dishonesty and playing with people's livelihoods, even coming so close as to kill one of them. Nevertheless, Talukdar will be given his share of praise before the higher-ups for his contribution to this promotion and he reminds Shyamal about it. The latter's triumph is anti-climactic. Having enjoyed the congratulatory offerings from his colleagues he rushes home to savour the adulation from his wife and Tutul but finds out that the elevator is broken. (14/24)
