Scene DescriptionWhat remains of the film is the manner of tidying up. The most important part of which is the resolution of Tutul's narrative. She has received a letter from her friend in Patna, who is perhaps a love interest, and there is more than a hint that her future is tied to a man with greater personal ethics and social responsibility, certainly not with a high-flying businessman like Shyamlendu. This decided difference makes Shyamal feel rather hollow. (12/24)
