Scene Description Quite out of the blue Shyamal learns that there is a minor defect in the consignment of fans due to be exported to Iraq soon. There is not enough time to correct the craftsmanship and therefore the company is faced with the prospect of a heavy fine and a face loss in the international market. Moreover, Shyamal's promotion will be at risk. Even things at Hindustan Peters can go wrong and the would-be director comes to face this vulnerability. Shyamal shares these sudden developments with Tutul, and says if there is a labour trouble for which the company cannot be held culpable then there is a possibility of delivering late but without penalties, to which Tutul flippantly suggests, "Then cause some trouble!".
