Scene Description The third troubling memory is one of Arindam's erstwhile friend, Biresh. A student activist at the time, Biresh organized workers against the systemic oppression by contractors and mill-owners. An unemployed stage-actor at the time, Arindam tagged along on his protest marches, keeping a safe distance and never really engaging with politics directly. Biresh got arrested and disappeared for years until one day, when he showed up at Arindam's flat after the latter had newly earned fame on-screen.(14/22)
