Scene Description To open up the range of popular perception of filmstars, Ray puts Arindam in the midst of a first class car of the train packed with the urban elite. The Bose family that gets to share the coupe with him constitutes the trio of a sick daughter Bulbul, confined to her berth; Mrs Bose who is openly appreciative of Arindam's accomplishments and the disapproving father Mr Bose who morally disapproves of the actor on the basis of the news report on the assault at the club, but has a massive and hypocritical oversight on his own moral bankruptcy.
