Scene Description Edith Simmons is an Anglo-Indian woman and Arati's coworker at Autoknit who forms an easy friendship with her. But Himanshu Mukherjee, the owner and their boss, has a biased perspective of white-women and treats Edith with disrespect. Edith is outspoken, she represents the saleswomen and argues with Mr Mukherjee to get them a fair share of commission for every knitting machine they sell. (10/17)
