Scene Description The documentary cuts to Benode Behari Mukherjee at his house, now fully blind after the unsuccessful cataract operation in 1957, but having pursued art even with the absence of vision. Satyajit Ray in the voiceover mentions that even for a visual artist the loss of sight need not mean the end of creation. That there was an inner eye, an inner vision born of long experience and deep devotion that the artist could call upon to come to his aid and to guide his fingers.(5/16)
