Scene DescriptionNisith being a stakeholder in the town's economic profits is also against the publicisation of the cautionary report. He doesn't refute the claims of Ashok but is obstinate about not bringing any defamatory claims to the holy water. The cure that Ashok proposes entails detecting the defective water pipes in the town and replacing them. Till then, the temple premises have to be shut away from public access. It will lead of loss of business and Nisith cannot allow it to happen. Ashok naively claims that he will resort to the judicial system against Nisith but the latter has the judge in his pocket. The judge is also an astute Hindu and would simply dismiss the doctor's case as a non-believer's farce. (10/36)
