Scene DescriptionThe conversation that ensues is rather inane. The perversity of the situation is such that Umaprasad cannot see eye to eye with his lunatic father, let alone debate with him. When he tries to put an end to the ludicrous purpose, Nibaran's sick grandchild springs back to life. Despite his Europeanism, Umaprasad cannot contest this miracle with words. His resolution gets weaker. (20/30)
