Scene Description Mr Sen's nephew Bijoy is in conversation with Byomkesh and Ajit at their quarters in Kolkata after Mr Sen and Panu's murder has shaken Golap Colony and the murderer is still loose. Concluding his initial investigations, Byomkesh directs Bijoy to keep up the financial support for Banalakshmi Devi whom he had met and 'rescued' from Kolkata and nursed a liking for at the cost of his engagement with Nepal Gupta's daughter Mukul. Byomkesh gives the unsolicited input that the latter is indeed a better choice of wife if Bijoy was looking for one. (14/14)
