Scene Description Gangacharan returns home to see Moti lying on dirt. He feels the untouchable girl's pulse to check if she is dead. It is a climactic moment is the film where the Brahmin man overcomes his religious inhibitions to finally extend his empathy as a human being. But he knows no one in the village will cremate her, so he must take the duty upon himself. Husband and wife watch as Dinabandhu Bhattacharya follows the road to their house with a paisley of children. They are supposedly coming to this house to look for sustenance. What would happen now? As Gangapada states, instead of two, they'll be ten now. His wife corrects him, there'll be eleven, indicating that she's expecting their child. (19/24)
