After Nahed's husband abandons her for another woman, she dedicates her life to bringing up her three children. Dreaming of moving up the social ladder and ending the days of poverty and need, Nahed pushes her youngest and prettiest daughter to be a singer and star of music videos. With the help of Nader, the famous star-maker and video-clips director, the daughter makes it big in the glamorous world of music and show business. Yet, as the family moves up in society and attains fame, money and a big house in an upper-class neighbourhood, jealousy and tensions rip it apart. Nahed and Nader start to disagree, as she believes her daughter is being used. None But That is a big-budget extravaganza, full of drama and colour, but at heart it is a dark story. It is loosely based on Bertolt Brecht's play, The Seven Deadly Sins.
