Twenty-four hours in the lives of five characters, none of who fits into Geneva's postcard image as a city of privilege. Linked by two cops' night patrol, the audience meets different faces of immigration and social exclusion. The lives and fates of four men and a woman, each with his/her own story, problems and wounds, will cross one night, and they will all emerge as changed individuals. Some are weak, others are strong, some are lucky, others not, some emerge unscathed and others are a mess. Night Shadows is a harsh, yet not a hopeless chronicle, where locals and foreigners' encounters with one another may transform their destinies. A reflection on fragile human relationships in troubled times.
