Body of Work

Suprava is a woman in her 60s. She is a highly respected social activist who, as a young girl, had taken part in the struggle for India's independence. Her only son Anjan, who has settled in the US, regularly pesters her to come and stay with him and his family, but Suprava declines, arguing that she has too much work with her organisation. This time, however, he persuades her, and they decide to go to the US after his return from Bangalore.
It is during his absence that things take a sharp turn. While coming home from a function, she sees a young woman running towards her speeding car, crying for help. She is followed by two men. Suprava picks her up and drives away. The men give chase and ever fire at the car.
From that moment on, Suprava finds herself entangled in a murky affair whose tentacles reach out to arms smuggling and killings...
