The film is a sombre journey of Lasya, a girl in her late teens, who lives with her father, Karma, and younger brother, Chomo, in a remote, mountainous village, somewhere in the northern Himalayas. Their home is surrounded by the pristine calm of snow capped mountains and a crisp, unending blue sky. One day, the army moves in and settles a few hundred yards from their doorstep. The family, which must now adjust to this intrusive presence, is unsettled. Brusquely awakened to this new reality, its dreamlike routine is disturbed and unforeseen complications set in. '
