Body of Work

Rena lives in an orphanage called House of the Sun. All the children residing there share a happy and cosy family atmosphere. However, every time guests come visiting, Rena becomes suspicious, knowing that their aim is to take children away for adoption, and she doesn't want her 'siblings' to be separated. One day, a friendly man named Yudha arrives at the House of the Sun. Wary at first as she sees him befriending some of her little friends, she grows close to him in time. But who is this man? Why does he come to the orphanage so often? What explains his interest in her? Dear Rena is a heartwarming story of bonding and trust, of solidarity and friendship. It also takes a look at the process a child undergoes in learning about forgiveness and what it means to be part of a family.
