Body of Work

Curiosity Kills the Cat is a psychodrama-cumpuzzle piece. It has a complex structure which tells a story from di_erent points of view, starting with that of Momo, a waiflike photographer who runs a studio next to the lobby of an upscale apartment building. The ever–curious Momo, with a penchant for secretly snapping everything and everyone with her cellphone, realises that businessman John Zheng who is married, is dallying with Rose who has opened a manicure shop next door. While investigating the a_air, Momo gets to know Rose, who is clearly unhappily married. Thereafter, the story backtracks, Rose and John's kid goes missing and there is a murder. The story's social element – the widening gap between the rich and the poor – deepens the drama.
