Synopsis Madan is a taxi driver and a small- time gambler who turns to crime in order to pay for the treatment of his ailing sister. Dancer Nina is in love with Madan, but he has chosen a young doctor, Rajini, instead. Rajani's father, who is the owner of a notorious night-club, tries to have Madan framed for the murder of Leena, a cabaret dancer. Madan confesses to the murder, fearing that his sister might be harmed. Condemned to death, he is saved by Rajani's childhood friend, police officer Ramesh, who lay's a trap to catch the villain, and tricks him into admitting his guilt. The villain is arrested and Madan is sentenced to a short term in prison for gambling and cheating. When he is released, he finds Rajani waiting for him outside the jail.
