Situated inside the Fort, at the village of the same name, is a detached building, standing in a paved court completely surrounded by old Mundapums, and with the usual Gopuram over the entrance. The Court is badly kept, overgrown with weeds, and encumbered with rubbish. The Temple is raised on a platform about four feet high.
