" The imagery of this painting is inspired from my Hardwar experience. The evening arati – waving of fire lamps to the river Ganga is an impressive sight – the sounds, the movement of large flames – created an unearthly atmosphere "Amit Ambalal, 2002 rpt. in Os.Mum/05.12.02, Lot 123
