A photgrapher, who has carved out a small niche for himself in Istanbul's middle-class bourgeoisie, is ahaunted by the feeling that the gap between hislife and his ideals is growing. He is obliged to put up his cousin who has left his village and come to town in search of a job. This young man is a dreamer. His dream is to board a ship and travel far. But what with the economic rissi, no one is willing to recruit a new sailor. While waiting to realise his dream, he turns into a lonely hunter chasing the nice-looking girls he comes across. The older cousin eventually gets bored with him and accusses him of stealing something from the house: and even when he finds out that he is mistaken, he will not admit it...
