The first shot is of a letter addressed to Anila, from an uncle estranged who left thirty-five years ago; an enigma called Manmohan Mitra. The opening scene establishes the first point of interest: the mystery concerning the reason for the man's sudden return. Is he the real uncle? Is he an imposter? Or a thief? Does he have an underlying motive behind this sudden imposition?
